Executive Director & Director Certified Lead Teacher: Rebecca Fosmo
Beckie is a dedicated early childhood educator and leader with a strong background in Waldorf-inspired education, coaching, and program leadership. She is passionate about creating nurturing, child-centered learning environments that support both children and educators.
She brings experience mentoring teachers, guiding collaborative teams, and fostering meaningful educational practices grounded in creativity, connection, and wonder. Beckie loves helping children develop a lifelong love of learning through imagination, outdoor exploration, and relationship-centered experiences.

Lead Teacher: Molly Church
Born and raised in Grand Junction, Molly has always loved working with children and supporting learning through creativity, curiosity, and hands-on experiences. During her time in District 51 preschools, she discovered a strong connection to the Montessori philosophy and the supportive environment it creates for children.
Molly recently graduated from CMU and is excited to begin her teaching career at HeartSong Montessori. She is passionate about helping children learn, grow, and build confidence through meaningful experiences and caring relationships.

Assistant/Aid Teacher: Jamie Peasants
Jamie brings a strong background in education, language instruction, and child development. Her experience includes teaching in both classroom and homeschool settings. Passionate about bilingual education, Jamie has taught Spanish in school settings and English as a Second Language (ESL) to learners of all ages.
She enjoys helping children build confidence, communication skills, and meaningful connections through language and exploration. Jamie is continuing her Montessori training and deepening her understanding of Montessori philosophy and practice. Outside the classroom, Jamie enjoys sewing, arts and crafts.

Lead Teacher: Kendra Dockery
Kendra holds a Lifeways Early Childhood certification and recently earned her Infant/Toddler CDA. She brings years of experience in homeschooling, classroom support, and early childhood education with children from infancy through high school.
She values child-led learning, creativity, and meaningful relationships, and loves supporting children’s natural curiosity and sense of wonder. Kendra enjoys art, music, nature, and creative projects, and brings a calm and nurturing presence to the classroom.

Lead Teacher: Patty Rottinghaus
I moved here from Montrose, where I had been the Assistant Director for the Maslow Academy. I have been semi-retired while subbing for HeartSong Montessori and other preschools in the area. I am excited for another year with the children at HeartSong.
